Is my Japanese level a good fit for the Sakura Class?
If you can read hiragana and katakana, recognise common kanji, and form basic ます-form sentences ("I eat sushi every day"), you’re ready. If you’re unsure whether the Sakura Class fits your level, get in touch — we’ll send you a placement test before you pay.
What if I miss a lesson?
Every lesson is recorded and added to your personal archive within 24 hours. Catch up at your own pace — and the group chat keeps you in the loop until the next class.
How does payment work?
Registration is processed by Stripe in USD. You pay once for the full 10-week season — no subscription or hidden fees. Refund policy is shared during the welcome email.
Is the time zone really 10 AM JST on Fridays?
Yes. The fixed schedule keeps the group consistent. The recording archive plus the group chat are there for students whose live time is inconvenient.
What language is the class taught in?
Primarily Japanese, with simple English support where needed. The goal of the Sakura Class is to push you to speak Japanese as often as possible — even when it’s imperfect.
Will I get a certificate?
We don’t issue a certificate — instead, you’ll have ten lessons of recorded archive, conversations with friends from around the world, and the ability to actually use what you studied.
