About Taiga

I’m Taiga, a Japanese teacher based in Fukui. I fell in love with cross-cultural exchange while studying abroad in the UK and travelling around the world during my twenties.
After spending years inside a Japanese auto-industry company, I completed the 420-hour Japanese Language Teacher Training Course while still working, left to teach full-time, and have since guided 3,000+ private lessons.
My mission is simple: build a place where learners around the world can live their Japanese — not just study it.
Courses

Every Friday morning Tokyo time, meet your group on Zoom for 90 minutes of guided conversation, grammar and feedback. Homework arrives weekly so your reps don’t stop between sessions.
