Japanese is my native language, but I learned what it really means to live in a language only after I left Japan. NihongoZamurai is the school I wish I’d had — where the language is the door, not the destination.

My belief
“Japanese is not the goal. It’s the bridge that takes you to what you actually want.”

Lessons should serve your life, not the textbook’s. That’s why I teach the way I do: with conversation, real situations, and a community that follows you outside the classroom.
And when you’re ready — we’ll meet in Japan, walk into the places you’ve only seen on screens, and I’ll guide you there myself.

My journey
From a few years working for an auto-industry company in Japan, to the 420-hour certificate, to your Japanese coach.
Studied abroad in the UK and travelled around the world.
I saw my own culture from the outside for the first time. The questions people asked me about Japan changed how I thought about it.
Worked as a developer in Japan’s auto industry
I met people with diverse perspectives and learned how language stirs human emotions and carries culture.
Completed the 420-hour Japanese Teacher Training Course
I studied at night and on weekends while still working full-time, then began teaching one-on-one online lessons.
Founded NihongoZamurai as a sole proprietor
After 3,000+ private lessons and twenty consecutive five-star reviews on Preply, I opened my own school to build something more than lessons — a community.
